In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you're going to need to know about Spicy Peppers - otherwise you're going to get pretty cold, especially if you don’t have the appropriate winterwear. This is where the Spicy Peppers come in so you can cook some spicy meals to keep Link warm.

So, if you're looking for the best places to find Spicy Peppers in the game and how you can use them to create some warming dishes, we've got all you need to know below.

Where can you farm Spicy Peppers?

To farm a large quantity of Spicy Peppers, simply look in and around the cave located on the way to the Gutanbac Shrine (the third Shrine in the Great Sky Island area) to find a significant amount of them sprouting up from their branches.

There are generally three to a branch, so you won’t be running out anytime soon. When enough time has passed, you’ll be able to come back to this area and bag yourself a freshly respawned crop.

Follow the below steps to locate the cave:

  • When travelling toward the Gutanbac Shrine, you’ll soon find that you need to climb a perilously cold mountain to get there.
  • As you’re about to embark on your ascent, you’ll come across a cave with a friendly Construct hovering near a cooking pot.
  • From speaking to him, you will learn that you cannot survive the cold without making some cold-resistant dishes - and he conveniently has the means to do so.

How to use Spicy Peppers

One of the best dishes you can make is by using five of these Spicy Peppers. This will create the Spicy Sautéed Peppers dish that will restore five hearts, and provide you with just over twelve minutes of low-level cold resistance.

You can combine the Spicy Peppers with pretty much any ingredient to get a different amount of cold resistance and health replenishment, so feel free to experiment and let Link unleash his inner Gordon Ramsay.
