Are you still trying to find the best farming location for Dragon Parts in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? In this guide, we will outline the best location to farm dragon parts in Tears of the Kingdom, as well as give a bit of insight into each of the dragons.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild had three dragons in the world, whereas the sequel boasts an extra dragon for players to find. The three from Breath of the Wild return, while the fourth dragon is new and not quite as easy to find.

You can find the dragons exploring the world, but with the new underground sections in Tears of the Kingdoms, it is quite easy to lose sight of them.

After all that, it is fair to say Naydra will be the easiest to farm in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as they go directly through a town. Grab what you need from them as they go into the depths, fast travel back to Kakariko Village, rest at a fire until morning, and then rinse and repeat. Once you've done this, you'll have more dragon parts than you know what to do with.

What do the dragons drop in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

You can pick up four different items from dragons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with some of them taking on the elemental properties of the dragon they are from. The Light Dragon also has a special item on it, but to save spoilers we will link to our guide for this item here. In the meantime here is each of the items below:

  • Dragon Scales (obtained by shooting a dragon’s body)
  • Dragon Shards (found on the dragon’s back after landing on them)
  • Dragon Claws (by shooting the dragon's feet)
  • Dragon Horns (found on the dragon’s head)

Where to find the dragons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The four dragons in Tears of the Kingdom each occupy different regions on the map, with Dinraal, Farosh, and Naydra also going deep into the depths. Here is where you can find each of the dragons in the game.

Note: Our advice for jumping on them or scouting them out is to shoot out of one of the towers, or approach it from the Sky Islands.

Dragon

Location

Naydra Found in East Necluda and dives into the depths via the entrance on East Hill just north of Kakiriko Village. You will need to wear warm clothing here to prevent Link from getting too cold.

Farosh

Found above the Gerudo Desert and is electrical, so make sure you remove all conductive weapons or you won’t last on his back very long. The Rubber Armour set would also be effective.

Dinraal

The fire dragon is unsurprisingly found near the volcano in the Eldin region and you must have some fireproof armour when you approach this one.

The Light Dragon

This one is very awkward and nowhere near as reliable as the others, they seem to float across the whole map, largely sticking to the edge. Fortunately, this is the only dragon that doesn’t.

That is everything you need to know on where to find the best dragon parts farming locations. For more on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, keep checking back with GGRecon.
