VALORANT patch notes schedule for 2024

While Riot likes to keep things to a tight schedule when it comes to patches in VALORANT, you might still be wondering when the next update could arrive.
As a highly competitive esports title, VALORANT requires plenty of patches to keep things balanced - so the game gets a fair amount of scheduled updates, adding new items, changing various abilities, and balancing the various weapons available.
Do we know when the next update is?
The next patch for VALORANT is estimated to release on May 28, 2024. This makes sense considering Tuesday is typically the release day of patches, and the PBE for this particular update released back on May 17.
In 2023, there was an average of two updates per month, and so far that pattern has carried over into 2024.

While most patches follow the linear X.0X pattern, some are missed or are simply internal pushes without major content or patch notes.
8.06, for example, was never 'officially' released, and we went straight from 8.05 to 8.07 without any delay to the standard release schedule either.
