Unicorn Overlord: Release date, platforms, trailers & all we know
If you're a fan of games with ridiculous names, the new RPG Unicorn Overlord might interest you, and we've got all the info you need to know about its release date, trailers, and more.
Unicorn Overlord is being created by Vanillaware, the team behind 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It has a distinct hand-drawn style, featuring gorgeous art alongside turn-based strategy gameplay. The story follows a prince who is on a journey to reclaim his kingdom from an evil ruler.
The game will reportedly feature over 60 unique characters ranging from humans and elves to beasts and angels, so there'll be plenty of variety. However, there's a lot more we don't know about the gameplay - but for everything we do know, including the release date and platform, here's a rundown of Unicorn Overlord so far.

Unicorn Overlord release date & platforms
Click to enlargeUnicorn Overlord has a release date of March 8th, 2024, which was announced at the Nintendo Direct on September 14th, 2023.
The game will be releasing on Nintendo Switch as well as PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Surprisingly the game doesn't have a PC version at the moment, despite coming to so many different consoles.

Are there any Unicorn Overlord trailers?
The trailer above shows a first look at Unicorn Overlord in action. Check it out to see the game's visual style in motion - it's pretty cool looking!
There's a lot of information and visuals thrown at us at once in the trailer, and eagle-eyed viewers will be able to spot the many character designs that pop up throughout it. It also shows glimpses of the tactical RPG gameplay, overworld design and even an online battle option.
There's lots to look forward to for fans of the genre, and hopefully, Unicorn Overlord will be a solid addition to the huge range of RPGs coming out in the near future.
