When it came to seeking out the right actor to play the God of Thunder, Santa Monica Studio did not mess around. Ryan Hurst is the actor tasked with bringing Thor to life in God of War Ragnarok. He is an actor with over 20 years of experience both in film and television.
Hurst has had many roles over the years, and has appeared in everything from Saved by the Bell to Law and Order SVU and The Walking Dead. He has plenty of experience playing warriors, having appeared in several war films such as Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers. He is perhaps best known for playing Opie Winston in Sons of Anarchy, a role in which his long hair and impressive beard were in full effect, fitting for an actor playing Thor.
