Is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League crossplay? Co-op & multiplayer explained

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is only around the corner, so we are going to dive into whether or not the game has crossplay as well as explain how the multiplayer and co-op will work.

The game sees players take control of the Suicide Squad which is made up of Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang and Deathshot who are taking on a Braniac-controlled Justice League.

Below, we have broken down whether or not the game has crossplay and cross-progression as well as how the co-op and multiplayer modes work.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature crossplay at launch. This means if you’re on Xbox Series X|S, but your buddy is on PS5, you can still play with them despite being on different platforms.

We aren’t sure how this works until launch, but we imagine it will be done via your in-game account.

Fortunately, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League also features cross-progression according to the official FAQ page. This means you should be able to switch platforms as and when you please, but we will have to wait until launch to get a much better idea of how this will work.

Suicide Squad is a co-op first game, so at launch, you will only be able to play the game if you’re online (this will be patched at a later date) and it is intended to be played with friends - although you can play solo. You can play in a group of four, each using one character.

There is no PvP in the game and we don’t know if this will come later, but it seems unlikely considering the type of game it is.
