The Raft Diving Helmet has a very early 20th-century look to it, forgoing a modern look in favour of a more retro aesthetic, and while it may look like a useful piece of equipment for diving underneath the waters of Raft, it's purely cosmetic. Raft is a survival crafting game set in a massive ocean that's populated by the occasional island and sunken building, and through exploration, you'll eventually become a master of both sailing on and swimming through the sea. So if you are looking for a unique look to set you apart, check out how to get the Raft Diving Helmet.

The Raft Diving Helmet can be acquired at any Trading Post, which are found on medium to large non-story islands, but first, you will need to perform a few steps to unlock the ability to purchase it. Firstly, you will want to build a Raft Recycler. This is an extremely useful piece of equipment that lets you scrap spare resources to turn into Trash Cubes, which are a form of currency used at Trading Posts.

To unlock the blueprint to build this, you will need to get the Receiver and navigate to the Radio Tower story locations, where it can be found at the top of the tower. Build it, and then you're one step closer to getting the Diving Helmet.

With Trash Cubes, you can now begin to purchase special bait from Trading Posts, which is vital for the next step. There are three bait types, Simple, Advanced, and Expert Fishing Bait, which are used to catch tier one, tier two, and tier three rare fish respectively. Catching rare fish and selling it to a Trading Post will earn you reputation and Trade Coins - with better fish earning you more reputation - that upgrades them to higher tiers. You will need to repeat this step until your Trading Post of choice reaches the third tier.

You will now be able to purchase the Raft Diving Helmet, along with special cosmetic items. It costs six Trash Cubes and six Trade Coins.

That's all for our primer on how to get the Raft Diving Helmet, and now you know how to unlock some of the better cosmetics by farming rare fish and Trash Cubes.
