The Architect's puzzle rooms are located in nearly every major area across Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, but finding all the locations and then solving the puzzles can be a difficult task.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown embraces difficulty in a few ways, thanks to its tough combat, tricky traversal sections, and puzzles that may leave you racking your brain. However, we're here to help you with the hardest quest in the game and show you all the solutions to The Architect's puzzles.

How to start The Architect quest

To start The Architect quest, you'll need to speak to the titular NPC in a room to the east of the Night Temple fast travel point in the Upper City. However, you won't be able to get there until much later in the game when you've obtained the sash ability.

Upon arrival, she'll challenge you to solve all of her puzzles littered around Mount Qaf - of which there are nine in total. You'll notice one of these rooms by the metal altar located in the middle, which is where special chests spawn after you complete a puzzle.

Solution: The statues in the back of the room represent a statue enemy you can fight in the Upper City.

The best way to get one of these is to go to the Night Temple fast travel point, take the elevator up to the left, go into the next room, and use Dimensional Claw on the statue enemy located on the big wooden platform in the middle of the room.

Head back to the puzzle room and throw the enemy into the pit, ensuring they land in the middle.

Reward: Soma Tree Petal

Solution: Activate the correct square traps in quick succession. However, you can just activate all of them to get the correct pattern.

The best way to do this is by jumping from the middle platform on the left side so you activate the top and middle squares on the first column, then double jumping to activate the other four along the top and middle rows. Once you fall onto the bottom row, dash to the left to activate the remaining three.

Reward: Amulet Holder

After you've completed all nine puzzles for The Architect quest, return to her in the Upper City, and you'll be presented with one more puzzle.

Around the room are rotating stone slabs with symbols on them. Each symbol corresponds to one of the puzzle rooms on the map, and if you check the map you can see a number next to each symbol.

You need to shoot the stone slabs with your arrow in the numerical order of the puzzle rooms. Here's the order by location:

  • Lower City
  • Hyrcanian Forest
  • Sacred Archives
  • Tower of Silence
  • Pit of Eternal Sands
  • Sunken Harbour
  • Soma Tree
  • The Depths
  • Temple of Knowledge

After you've activated the slabs, the portal in the middle of the room will open, allowing you to grab some lore items and a Soma Tree Flower from a chest.
