Pokemon Sleep is starting 2024 with a bang by introducing a fresh Research Area called Lapis Lakeside, a mysterious and misty lakeside that hosts a slew of Pokemon brand-new to the game.

Lapis Lakeside release date
Lapis Lakeside will debut in Pokemon Sleep on January 24, 2024, at 3PM local time.
Since January 24, 2024, lands on a Wednesday, you'll need to use an E-Zzz Travel Ticket to venture to it right away. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until Monday, January 29, 2024, to select Lapis Lakeside as your Research Area.
How to unlock Lapis Lakeside
Before you can visit Lapis Lakeside and conduct sleep research, you must study a whopping 230 sleep styles. That's a lot of sleep styles, so unless you're a Pokemon Sleep vet, you may be waiting a while before you can step foot on the new Research Area.
However, if you just can't wait to check out all the new Pokemon, you can find Lapis Lakeside-exclusive Pokemon on Greengrass Island for a limited time from January 29, 2024, to February 12, 2024, as part of the Lapis Lakeside Opening Event.
