It's no surprise that Eevee and its evolutions are among the most popular Pokemon of all time. Not only are Eevee and the Eeveelutions extremely unique and aesthetically pleasing, but they are also amazing Helper Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep.

This primer details the best Research Areas to find Eevee and the Eeveelutions in the sleep-tracking app from The Pokemon Company.

Before picking a Research Area and hunting for Eevee and its evolutions, you need an idea of what you're looking for. Is your goal to befriend as many Eevees as possible in hopes of finding an S-Tier Eevee? Or do you want to encounter a specific Eeveelution and discover new Sleep Styles?

While you can find Eevee in any of the Research Areas, some Research Areas are better suited for the job than others. For example, Eevee won't appear on Greengrass Isle until you achieve a Snorlax Rating of Basic 4. However, Eevee is available at Basic 1 on Cyan Beach, Taupe Hollow, and Snowdrop Tundra.

Greengrass Isle is a favourite amongst many Pokemon Sleep researchers, yet the sheer number of Pokemon species that can appear on Greengrass Isle means that your odds of encountering Eevee are lower than in a Research Area with a less diverse population of Pokemon.

Generally, if you plan to try to befriend a bunch of Eevees, you should select Cyan Beach, Taupe Hollow, or Snowdrop Tundra. While your Snorlax will likely grow at a decreased rate compared to Greengrass Isle, the Area Dex for these Research Areas is reduced, which lends itself to recurring Eevee appearances. Also, since Eevee can appear from Basic 1 in these Research Areas, you'll be able to find Eevee right away!

Greengrass Isle might not be the best Research Area for finding Eevee, but it's definitely one of the best Research Areas if your objective is to come into contact with Eeveelutions. Greengrass Isle is home to Jolteon, Leafeon, and Sylveon. And since the Eeveelutions only have a chance to appear when your Snorlax Rating hits Master, it's key to pick a Research Area like Greengrass Isle where you can quickly increase Snorlax's Strength.

Jolteon, Lefeaon, and Sylveon are exclusive to Greengrass Isle, Vaporeon only appears on Cyan Beach, Flareon, Espeon, and Umbreon are unique to Taupe Hollow, and you can find Glaceon at Snowdrop Tundra. Remember this when picking a Research Area!

If you want to try your hand at finding Eeveelutions, you should conduct your research at Greengrass Isle or Taupe Hollow. Both these Research Areas are home to three different Eeveelutions, while Cyan Beach and Snowdrop Tundra only support Vaporeon and Glaceon, respectively. But because you need an extremely high Snorlax Rating for the Eeveelutions to appear, choose a Research Area that has a boosted Area Bonus.

As you can see, there's a lot that goes into picking a Research Area in Pokemon Sleep, especially if you're after specific Pokemon. Use the information in this primer to select the best Research Area for your needs, and who knows, maybe you'll run into a Shiny Eevee!
