The PlayStation Showcase time is fast approaching and boy are we excited. This PlayStation event will have all sorts of surprises and huge games in-store, including some expected titles like God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West. There's no better place to be this evening, as the PlayStation Showcase stream will have everything a PS5 player could dream of. Here's all you need to know on how to watch the PlayStation Showcase stream, the start time, and what we might see.
PlayStation Showcase Time And Date
Good news! The PlayStation Showcase time and date is tonight, September 9 2021, at 1:00pm Pacific Time / 4:00pm Eastern / 9:00pm BST / 10:00pm CEST. Sony has said the main show will run for approximately 40 minutes, so not quite as long as the recent Microsoft Gamescom show, but that is more than enough time to get in everything fans are looking forward to.
On top of that, we also know that those 40 minutes will have no developer interviews - all of that will come afterwards. This means it should be 40 minutes of reveals, trailers, and gameplay, rather than filling it up with talking. Not that we don't love hearing from the developers, but having that stuff after the show leaves more space for the heavy-hitting reveals.

PlayStation Showcase Event Predictions
What will we see at the PlayStation Showcase? Nobody knows for certain - definitely don't believe any of the obviously fake leaks that have been circulating - but we can make some very educated guesses. First up is God of War: Ragnarok, which is due out next year as one of Sony's flagship titles. This sequel to the 2018 blockbuster was officially announced at the PlayStation Showcase last year and we still know very little about the title. With a 2022 release date, this would be the prime time to showcase more of the next Kratos adventure.
On a similar note, it'll be surprising not to see even more Horizon Forbidden West gameplay. We found out last month that the Horizon Forbidden West release date is in February 2022, so with less than six months to go, no doubt Aloy's second endeavour will be a prominent part of the show.
A slightly bolder prediction is the upcoming multiplayer title Naughty Dog is hiring for. We know next to nothing about this game, other than the fact it started out as the multiplayer mode for The Last of Us: Part 2 and has since evolved into a standalone title. An official reveal of the game here wouldn't be too far out of left field.
Finally, we'll probably see more GTA 5. A game that is truly toeing the line of outstaying its welcome since we're expecting news on GTA 6 at some point, GTA 5 is due a release on PS5 before the end of the year. We still don't know the exact release date though, so we could be in luck here.
Of course, the PlayStation Showcase will certainly have some surprises nobody could predict. Rumours of a Sly Cooper reboot are circulating, as is word of a Twisted Metal reboot. Personally, I just want another Croc: Legend of the Gobbos game. Is that too much to ask for?
