Overwatch 2 players will surely be excited to try the new Season 4 Support hero, Lifeweaver - however, it's not entirely clear how you can unlock him from the get-go. Follow our rundown below to get the character for yourself.

How do you unlock Lifeweaver?

As soon as Overwatch Season 4 launches, the ability to play as Lifeweaver will be available from the offset, but players will have to complete a few requisites before they can jump into a match with them.

There are two options you can complete to unlock Lifeweaver, and they are as follows:

  • Buy the Premium Battle Pass, gifting players instant access to Lifeweaver. It costs 1,000 coins to purchase.
  • If you don’t want to buy the Premium Battle Pass, once you reach Level 45 in the free version, you will unlock Lifeweaver.

For long-term fans of Overwatch 2, the former option will most likely be the most beneficial. More often than not, you can make back the coins you paid for it just by completing the Battle Pass. If you’ve completed the Season 3 pass, you may already have enough residing in your account.

It’s pretty simple to unlock Lifeweaver but may take quite a few matches if you take the second path. Either way, you will eventually get your hands on this new snazzy support hero.
