Here's how you can auto battle in One Piece Odyssey
One Piece Odyssey has a nifty feature that lets you auto battle in the game. It lets you grind for experience and ingredients in a fast manner. Here's how to activate auto battle in the game.
Activating auto battle
Turning on the auto battle mode in One Piece Odyssey is thankfully rather easy to do. Instead of going to the menu to activate it, you'll actually need to enter a battle instead. Once you find an enemy or creature to attack, the battle menu will show up.
Once this occurs, find the red tab "Tactics" by the side of the "Skill" section. Click on it or press the console button prompt to access the tactics menu. Now, select "Switch Battle Mode" and then choose "Auto Battle."
Click to enlargeNow, your characters will be fighting by themselves, gaining experience and various ingredients for cooking as they battle. If you want to get back behind the metaphorical wheel, simply follow the same method and choose "Manual Battle" in the same menu.
You should be aware of when you should and shouldn't use Auto Battle in One Piece Odyssey. When you go against stronger enemies, you'll want to take control. You can use the abilities you think are best for the situation and switch to the characters who have class advantages.
However, if you want to stick to auto battle and treat One Piece Odyssey like a mobile game (such as Raid: Shadow Legends and Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes), you can speed up the process by pressing the C key on your PC or the console button equivalent.
How to auto run in One Piece Odyssey
Auto Run in One Piece Odyssey is another nifty feature. While standing in place, press the R key or the left analogue stick on Xbox or PlayStation. You can auto run when you press this button, but unfortunately, the game won't make Luffy and his friends jump over obstacles while auto running.
Click to enlargeAlso, when you pick up an item from the ground, the auto run will be cancelled, forcing you to press R or the left analogue stick again. It's rather frustrating. Final Fantasy XIV Online does it so much better.
