How to unlock the Static-HV in MW3 & Warzone

Season 5 of MW3 and Warzone is underway, and with it comes a whole new Battle Pass filled with cosmetic items and weapons to unlock - one of those being the Static-HV submachine gun.

This cheeky little number comes in a sweet and small package but with an extraordinary amount of ammo in the chamber. It burns through its 50-round magazine at an alarming rate thanks to a speedy rate of fire and promises to deliver massive damage however you want to spec it.

With the potential to give the Renetti a run for its money as the new close-quarters king, here's how you can unlock this small-but-mighty weapon for yourself in MW3 and Warzone.

How to unlock the Static-HV in MW3 Season 5

To unlock the Static-HV, you'll need to complete Sector 6 of the Season 5 Battle Pass. It's part of the free version, so you won't need to spend any money. However, it will take a little bit of grinding to unlock at the start of the season.

To grab this weapon quickly, I recommend jumping into the Small Map Mosh Pit for a few matches and aiming to complete as many daily and weekly challenges as you can. This will net you as much XP as possible, and you'll fast-track your way to unlocking the Static-HV in no time.

If you want to go one step further, you can unlock a Blueprint for the weapon after completing Sector 17 of the Battle Pass. However, this will take you significantly longer to unlock.

For those who don't mind spending a bit of money, you can purchase the BlackCell version of the Season 5 Battle Pass and unlock Sector 6 from the get-go. You'll still need to do a small amount of grinding the unlock the weapon at the end of the Sector, but you'll be one step closer to levelling it up and decking it out with the best attachments.

Once you've unlocked the Static-HV in MW3 or Warzone, you're free to use it in either game.
