The JAK Purifier is a new attachment in MW3 Season 1 that is great for melting away the competition. MW3 players can earn this new Aftermarket attachment for themselves, it just takes a bit of work.

If the JAK Purifier and the idea of lighting your enemies on fire sounds appealing to you, then here is everything you need to do to get it in the latest game. That is provided you can get around the Niamey Logan bug that is preventing many from logging in.

How to unlock the JAK Purifier flamethrower

The JAK Purifier attachment is the final reward in Sector A14 of the Season 1 Battle Pass. The prerequisites are to first complete Sectors A9, A13, and A15, then unlock all previous rewards in Sector A14. If you put in the time and manage to unlock the attachment, you'll then need to convert a weapon to use it.

Aftermarket parts and conversion kits are part of a new system added to the Gunsmith in MW3. Put simply, you will need to fully level up a weapon before you can convert it, which is necessary to equip aftermarket parts like the JAK Purifier. If you have a weapon in mind that you want to attach the flamethrower to, this is what you will need to do first.

Once you reach the maximum level with your chosen weapon, you will be given a specific challenge for that weapon to unlock the conversion kit. Complete that challenge, and you will then be able to convert the weapon and equip aftermarket parts.

The weapons that the JAK Purifier can be equipped with are:

  • MCW
  • MTZ-556
  • Holger 556
  • DG-56
  • SVA 545
  • RAM-7
  • MTZ-762
  • BAS-B
  • Sidewinder
  • Riveter
