Brightcore is a pivotal resource in LEGO Fortnite that can help you a great deal as you get yourself settled, so we’re here to show you exactly where to find it and how to use it effectively in the game.

By farming materials like Brightcore and Obsidian, you can enhance your LEGO Fortnite experience in a multitude of ways, so making sure you know where to get a significant amount is bound to come in handy.

Where to find Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite

Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite can be found in the Dry Valley biome, specifically in the caves that populate the area, like the one in the image below. These caves are extremely hot, so make sure you have plenty of heat-resistant food so you don’t burn.

Like Obsidian, Brightcore can be found in glowing ore deposits that adorn the walls of lava caves and will require a strong pickaxe to break down and farm.

How to use Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite

Brightcore is an essential material you will need to create a Metal Smelter in LEGO Fortnite. This machine, like the crafting table, allows you to process ores to create new materials like Copper Bars.

When you collect your first piece of Brightcore after mining it, you’ll receive the recipe for the Metal Smelter, like the one in the image above.

Once you’ve crafted the Metal Smelter, you’ll get the crafting recipe for Copper Bars, which can be used to make lighting fixtures. They’re bound to come in handy as you build and upgrade your humble village.

That’s everything you need to know about Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite. If you’re on the hunt for more resources and ways of survival, be sure to check out where to find Sand Claws and how to set a respawn location so you’ll always have a place to call home.
