Pacts are a new feature in Diablo 4 Season 2, serving a significant purpose by strengthening the gear that your character wears and improving the stats of your character - but how do you remove one after they've been added?

Pacts are just one of the new features that Season 2 of Diablo 4 has given players to experiment with, alongside those all-important Vampiric Powers to further boost your chosen class' damage.

However, if you find that you have placed a Pact on the wrong piece of armor or just want to remove it to put a better one on, here is everything you need to know about removing them in the game.

Removing a Pact from armor in Diablo 4

In order to remove a pact from your armor in Diablo 4 Season 2, you have to obtain an item called Cleansing Acid, which can erase a specific bonus from the armor or remove every bonus, depending on what you want.

You’ll have to do this at least once during the season in order to progress the Season Journey and get the rewards.

Cleansing Acid can be a beneficial item to have, as it will help you tailor your bonuses and get rid of the ones that are hindering your chosen build.

You can craft Cleansing Acid by using 100 Potent Blood. Alternatively, you can open Seeker Cache containers that can be found in the Blood Harvest. Crafting is absolutely the easier option here, as you never know when you’ll find Cleansing Acid in the Seeker Cache containers.

And with that, there's everything you need to know about removing a Pact from your armor in Season 2 of Diablo 4.
