Getting your hands on Crewmate Cards is an essential part of building the strongest party in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, as much of the S-tier in our character tier list is only accessible through this item in the game.

Your original party of skyfarers will definitely serve you well, but why turn down the chance to expand and upgrade the crew with a new set of heroes, with unique abilities and movesets to try out?

When do you get Crewmate Cards in Granblue Fantasy: Relink?

Crewmate Cards are earned at specific points within the story and by completing quests both during the main chapters and into the post-game.

Here are all of the points that we have found Crewmate Cards during our playthrough so far:

  • After completing Chapter 3 (Main Story)
  • After gathering intel for Zathba in Seedhollow (Main Story)
  • Before you storm Seedhollow Castle (Main Story)
  • Saga Grande: The Beginning (Quest)
  • Unlocking Hard Difficulty (Main Story)
  • The Saga Continues: Ice (Quest)
  • Hide and Chic (Quest)
  • Wings of Antiquity (Quest)
  • No One Likes Leftovers (Quest)

We've only found nine Crewmate Cards so far, with four being earned directly as you progress and complete the main story. The rest will likely be found in various post-game quests, and we will update you once they have been discovered.

Crewmate Cards unlock new characters to either add to your part or play as yourself, opening up a wide variety of new playstyles to encounter and master.

They are earned quite slowly, especially if you're only doing the main story missions, so do make sure to be wise about who you pick first. I made sure to go over all of their skills and moveset before settling on my choice, as there were definitely some that seemed more appealing than others.

You'd better get grinding then if you want to unlock all 12 additional characters, but in the meantime check out our trending homepage for the latest news and guides, or read our full Granblue Fantasy: Relink review to see what we thought of the game.
