Roaming Form Gimmighoul, the Coin Hunter Pokemon that debuted in Scarlet and Violet, has finally made its way to Pokemon GO. However, in order to evolve it into Gholdengo, you'll need to gather enough Gimmighoul Coins first. Here is all you need to know about gathering them in this Pokemon GO guide.

How can you get Gimmighoul Coins?

Firstly, you can get Gimmighoul Coins by using the Coin Bag you get after you send a postcard from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Scarlet or Violet for the first time. For 30 minutes once a day, the Coin Bag will have you encounter at least several Gimmighoul - some of which will drop Gimmighoul Coins after capturing them.

However, those Gimmighoul only drop a few at a time. To get the 999 Gimmighoul Coins you need to evolve one into Gholdengo, you'll need to obtain and use Golden Lure Modules - which are Gimmighoul and Gholdengo-esque versions of regular Lure Modules.

Of course, sending a postcard for the first time got you the Coin Bag. For every postcard you send afterward though, you'll obtain a Golden Lure Module.

Then, you just need to use your Golden Lure Module on a PokeStop into a Golden PokeStop. Spin the PokeStop while the Lure is active, and it will keep dropping Gimmighoul Coins for you.

What's more, you can earn Gimmighoul Coins in Pokemon GO by spinning the Golden PokeStops made by other players as well, in case you've already used your own. For additional coins, you can earn Gimmighoul Coins by walking with a Gimmighoul assigned as your buddy as well.

So, you should eventually be able to get the 999 Gimmighoul Coins in Pokemon GO you need to evolve your Gimmighoul into Gholdengo with little difficulty.
