How to access Spotify Wrapped in Fortnite
For the first time, players can enjoy Spotify Wrapped in Fortnite, and we are here to explain how.
Spotify Wrapped is always a fun time of year where, if you have Spotify, you can compare the last 12 months of your listening with pals in a thorough breakdown. There will no doubt be a few surprises in there or a reminder of a phase you had earlier in the year that you forgot about.
Below, we will explain how to access the Fortnite Spotify Wrapped island and playlist in the game, as well as what can be expected from the island.
How to play the Spotify Wrapped Island in Fortnite
- Go to the Spotify Wrapped homepage on the Fortnite website
- If you aren’t already logged in, login
- Select Add to Playlist
- Now, fire up Fortnite wherever you play the game
- Go to Discover in the Lobby
- This playlist will appear here - all that is left is to enjoy
Once you have done the steps above you can go in and play the new island at your leisure. It is a single-player experience, so you can’t jump in with anyone else, but there is plenty to do once you’re in there.
What is the Spotify Wrapped Island in Fortnite?
Click to enlargeThe Spotify Wrapped Island, which was designed by Karta, is an island inspired by Spotify Wrapped - but it won’t be personalised exactly to you. Once you enter the island you will see three pathways, each representing a different type of music personality. As part of my Spotify Wrapped, I got Shapeshifter, so that was the one I tried out. The three different categories are:
- Shapeshifter
- Vampire
- Luminary
Each option will have a doorway for you to go through with a different game traversal-based game inside. You can also collect coins and explore whilst you’re in the zones.

Click to enlargeThe Island first launched on November 30, and will expire on December 31. Personally, I can’t wait to pop on my Spotify Wrapped playlist from this year and try to collect the 45 coins available.
