Season 2 blends the old and new by taking us back to the first half of 2024's F1 racing season, and letting players enjoy some historic events in the sport.

There are two new Pro Challenges featuring Zhou Guanyu and Max Verstappen. You can take on Zhou at the Shanghai International Circuit, and beating his lap time will unlock the F1 Chinese Grand Prix helmet.

Max's race takes place on the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, and surpassing his time will net you a currently undisclosed item that's described as a "coveted item tied to the current World Champion".

There are also two major Event Series where you can enjoy past moments from the sport. One of them lets you relive Valtteri Bottas' performances from the Kick Sauber Event Series, whereas the Red Bull Event Series lets you control Max Verstappen in the pursuit of his fourth world title.

These series include race scenarios such as Zhou's home race in Shanghai, Verstappen's first Red Bull win in Spain, and his record-extending consecutive Netherlands win.

Check the roadmap above for info on the dates for these challenges and events.

With all this also comes a new Podium Pass full of cosmetic items for players to earn, such as car decals and driver outfits.

Season 2 is available for all F1 24 platforms: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
