TOTS is finally here in EA FC 24, and it's already living up to its reputation as the best period of the year with the sheer scale of fantastic players on offer.

With most of the world's best leagues coming to a close and TOTS Live out of the way, what better way to honour and celebrate the cream of the crop than a place in each respective league's Team of the Season squad in-game?

Premier League TOTS players

  • Alisson (Liverpool)
  • Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
  • Ben White (Arsenal)
  • Gabriel (Arsenal)
  • William Saliba (Arsenal)
  • Rodri (Manchester City)
  • Declan Rice (Arsenal)
  • Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool)
  • Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
  • Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
  • Phil Foden (Manchester City)
  • Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
  • Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)
  • Son Heung-min (Spurs)

As you can see, this year's squad is somewhat unique stacked with players from the league's top three - with just Palmer, Watkins, and Son not from Liverpool, Manchester City, or Arsenal.

All players are certainly more than deserving of their place though - with each displaying why they're vital to their clubs across the course of the season. It is a little surprising to see Ollie Watkins - who could end up as the league's top goalscorer and assister - 'only' at 93, but his inclusion overall is more than justified.

As a Liverpool fan, I am delighted to see three players make the squad - especially with Mac Allister shining across multiple midfield roles in his debut season for the club.

There are also five TOTS Moments players paired alongside the main squad, with each card signalling a key moment for the player or their club in the season:

  • Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
  • Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
  • Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea)
  • Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)
  • Pervis Estupinian (Brighton)

Some of these are more obvious than others - with De Bruyne's likely to be linked to his game-changing substitute appearance against Newcastle that gave City huge momentum in the title race, and Garnacho's stunning bicycle kick against Everton. I hope that Diaz's hasn't to do with the unawarded goal against Spurs though!

WSL TOTS players

  • Khiara Keating (Manchester City)
  • Lotte Wubben-Moy (Arsenal)
  • Alex Greenwood (Manchester City)
  • Niamh Charles (Chelsea)
  • Katie Zelem (Manchester United)
  • Lauren James (Chelsea)
  • Lauren Hemp (Manchester City)
  • Khadija Shaw (Manchester City)

While this base squad is slightly smaller, the WSL TOTS contains both Moments TOTS cards and a new card type under the name 'Engagement TOTS' - with five additional players beyond the original eight.

With proceedings still hotly contested between Manchester City and Chelsea at the top of the table, it's no surprise to see the main squad dominated by players from both squads. City's Khadija Shaw has certainly continued her excellent scoring record into this season, leading the table with 21 goals in just 18 games.

She is pipped to the top-rated card by Chelsea's Lauren James, who has continued to be the difference maker for Emma Hayes' side as they look to claim the title once more.

Here are both the Moments and Engagement TOTS cards that are released alongside the main squad:

  • Sam Kerr (Chelsea) - Moments
  • Alessia Russo (Arsenal) - Moments
  • Melvine Malard (Manchester United) - Moments
  • Chloe Kelly (Manchester City) - Engagement
  • Katie McCabe (Arsenal) - Engagement

Bundesliga TOTS players

  • Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
  • Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Serhou Guirassy (VfB Stuttgart)
  • Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Alex Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)
  • Granit Xhaka (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Waldemar Anton (VfB Stuttgart)
  • Leroy Sane (Bayern Munich) - SBC
  • Jan-Niklas Beste (1. FC Heidenheim) - Objective
  • Lois Openda (RB Leipzig)
  • Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig)
  • Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund)

With 17 players in the main squad, and a whopping 8 'Moments' players joining them, the Bundesliga Team of the Season squad is certainly looking fantastic.

Unsurprisingly it is dominated by the still-unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen, with six players in almost every area of the pitch included. I've certainly got my eyes on the young star Florian Wirtz, but left fullback Alex Grimaldo looks to have the strongest card overall - boasting a near 90+ rating in every single face stat after a dominant season in all areas.

Harry Kane leads the line as the highest rated though, and while Bayern Munich failed to secure their 12th Bundesliga in a row, the complete striker has definitely earned this - racking up 35 goals and counting in his debut season for the club.

While they might not have done enough to make it into the main squad, there are also eight TOTS Moments players who certainly have their own stories to remember throughout the season:

  • Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich)
  • Leon Goretzka (Bayern Munich)
  • Karim Adeyemi (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Dayot Upamecano (Bayern Munich)
  • Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)
  • Edmund Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen)

Someone like Marco Reus will almost certainly be popular in the community, but the rest of the cards are definitely ones that you'll want to pack in the coming week.

Frauen-Bundesliga TOTS players

  • Lea Schuller (Bayern Munich)
  • Katharina Naschenweng (Bayern Munich)
  • Georgia Stanway (Bayern Munich)
  • Glodis Perla Viggosdottir (Bayern Munich)
  • Natasha Kowaslski (SGS Essen)
  • Alexandra Popp (VfL Wolfsburg)
  • Ewa Pajor (VfL Wolfsburg)
  • Merle Frohms (VfL Wolfsburg)

Much like the Bundesliga, it's no surprise to see so many players from the leading and currently unbeaten side appear in the above squad, with half of the eight-player main squad from Bayern Munich. Joining them too is another four Engagement and Moments cards too, which are sure to be popular picks.

While Alexandra Popp takes the top-rated spot with a fantastic 97-rated card, it's Georgia Stanway's 94-rated option that stands out the most to me. She's rightfully earned 90+ stats in every category here, having completed the most passes of any player in the league, and she's also shown off her shooting boots with the joint-most goals outside of the box.

As mentioned, there are another four Engagement and Moments cards joining the main squad:

  • Barbara Dunst (Eintracht Frankfurt)
  • Lena Oberdorf (VfB Wolfsburg)
  • Nicole Anyomi (Eintracht Frankfurt)
  • Paulina Krumbeigel (TSG 1989 Hoffenheim)

I've definitely got my eyes on Oberdorf, as her TOTY card was already one of my favourites so having an improved version is definitely something to consider adding to your squad.

Batch 5

  • Neymar Jr (Al Hilal) - Moments
  • Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray)
  • Kalidou Koulibaly (Al Hilal)
  • Jordi Alba (Inter Miami) - Moments
  • Wendell (Porto)
  • Quinten Timber (Feyenoord)
  • Renato Steffen (FC Lugano)
  • Sebastian Nanasi (Malmo FF)
  • Brian Brobbey (Ajax) - Moments
  • Costinha (Rio Ave)
  • Cameron Puertas (Union Saint-Gilloise)

The aim of Mixed Leagues is to represent and celebrate players from global leagues that won't be getting their own dedicated TOTS squads, like Liga Portugal, Turkish Super Lig, or the English Championship.

It's no surprise to see cards like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi here and I'm sure that both will be incredibly popular and expensive, but it's also great to see players like Leif Davis and Joey Veerman celebrated for their success.

Ligue 1 TOTS players

  • Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG)
  • Facundo Medina (RC Lens)
  • Dante (OGC Nice)
  • Bradley Locko (Stade Brestois 29)
  • Tiago Santos (LOSC Lille)
  • Vitinha (PSG)
  • Pierre Lees-Melou (Stade Brestois 29)
  • Nabil Bentaleb (LOSC Lille)
  • Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG)
  • Kylian Mbappe (PSG)
  • Romain Del Castillo (Stade Brestois 29)
  • Ousmane Dembele (PSG)
  • Alexandr Golovin (AS Monaco)
  • Jonathan David (LOSC Lille)
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Marseille)

It's definitely not a shock to see so many PSG players on the list above - especially in the case of someone like Kylian Mbappe who looked primed for the Ballon d'Or if PSG had managed to reach the Champions League final.

However, it's the abundance of Brest players that really show their ascendancy this year - as the team has risen 11 places from their final position in 22/23, and remains in strong contention for a UCL spot thanks to the performances from the players included.

Joining the main squad too are eight TOTS Moments players and two TOTS Engagement cards:

  • Rayan Cherki (Lyon) - Moments
  • Denis Zakaria (AS Monaco) - Moments
  • Marquinhos (PSG) - Moments
  • Nuno Mendes (PSG) - Moments
  • Kenny Lala (Stade Brestois 29) - Moments
  • Lucas Hernandez (PSG) - Moments
  • Khephren Thuram (OCG Nice) - Moments
  • Jean-Clair Todibo (OGC Nice) - Moments
  • Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon) - Engagment SBC
  • Takumi Minamino (AS Monaco) -  Engagment OBJ

I know that plenty of players will have their eyes on Kenny Lala's card for some FIFA 19 nostalgia - but Arsenal fans might also want to reunite Lacazette and Aubameyang at the top with both of their special versions. I'm definitely gonna complete Minamino as a Liverpool fan though, and he'll be a great addition to my squad.

D1 Arkema TOTS players

  • Sakina Karchaoui (PSG)
  • Tabitha Chawinga (PSG)
  • Grace Geyoro (PSG)
  • Selma Bacha (Lyon)
  • Ada Hegerberg (Lyon)
  • Clara Mateo (Paris FC)
  • Kinga Szemik (Stade de Reims)
  • Gaetane Thiney (Paris FC) - SBC
  • Kadidiatou Diani (Lyon) - SBC
  • Ines Benyahia (Le Havre AC) - OBJ
  • Marie Katoto (PSG)

This is a fantastic selection of players that more than adequately represents the best of the best in D1 Arkema this past season. With Lyon claiming the top spot heading into the playoffs, players like Hegerberg and Bacha more than deserve their place - and the latter will certainly be a popular pick if previous cards are to go by.

Joining them on the PSG side are top-scorer Chawinga, Karchaoui, Katoto, and Geyoro, and I will certainly look to buy (or hopefully pack) the latter, as she was one of my favourite cards for most of the cycle.

Joining the main squad too are three TOTS Moments players:

  • Wendie Renard (Lyon)
  • Amel Majri (Lyon)
  • Rosemonde Kouassi (FC Fleury 91)

I have no doubt that Renard, like her TOTY card, will be extremely popular, but both Majri and Kouassi look positively deadly in attack.

LaLiga TOTS players

  • Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid)
  • Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)
  • Fede Valverde (Real Madrid)
  • Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid)
  • Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona)
  • Isco (Real Betis)
  • Antonio Rudiger (Real Madrid)
  • Jules Kounde (Barcelona)
  • Savio (Girona)
  • Ilkay Gundogan (Barcelona)
  • Ronald Araujo (Barcelona)
  • Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid)
  • Miguel Gutierrez (Girona)
  • Inaki Williams (Athetlic Club)
  • Aleix Garcia (Girona)
  • Artem Dovbyk (Girona)
  • Unai Simon (Athetlic Club)

While there are few surprises on this list, the deserved inclusion of four Girona players for their excellent season is definitely good to see. Beyond this, however, are some top-tier cards that unsurprisingly command a high price - with Bellingham's 90-club monster being the most expensive of the lot.

Joining them too are ten cards across Moments and 'Champions':

  • Joao Cancelo (Barcelona) - Moments
  • Sergio Ramos (Sevilla) - Moments
  • Nabil Fekir (Real Betis) - Champions
  • Joao Felix (Barcelona) - Moments
  • Rodrygo (Real Madrid) - Moments
  • Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid) - Moments
  • Cesar Azpilicueta (Atletico Madrid) - Champions
  • Vivian (Athletic Club) - Moments
  • Nico Williams (Athletic Club) - Moments
  • Hamari Traore (Real Sociedad) - Moments

Liga F TOTS players

  • Caroline Graham Hansen (Barcelona)
  • Aitana Bonmati (Barcelona)
  • Olga Carmona (Real Madrid)
  • Salma Paralluelo (Barcelona)
  • Athenea (Real Madrid)
  • Patri Guijarro (Barcelona)
  • Aldana Cometti (Madrid CFF)
  • Alba Redondo (Levante)
  • Lola Gallardo (Atletico Madrid)

You're in for a treat if you run a Liga F squad, as every card here will almost definitely change your team for the better. The eternally-meta Hansen unsurprisingly has emerged as the most expensive of the bunch, but she shares the top-rated spot with teammate and Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati. I'd love to try out Bonmati's card as she's been one of my favourites throughout the year - but I don't quite have the 2m+ spare!

Alongside this, there are also three Moments cards to pick up, including one particularly popular choice:

  • Alexia Putellas (Barcelona)
  • Tere Abelleira (Real Madrid)
  • Martin-Prieto (Sevilla)

Image of three Liga F Moments TOTS cards in EA FC 24

While she hasn't played as much in the past year, thus missing out on the main squad, Putellas is still one of the best in the world and remains a card that many players will be desperate to get their hands on.

Serie A TOTS players

  • Lautaro Martinez (Inter)
  • Theo Hernandez (Milan)
  • Olivier Giroud (Milan)
  • Alessandro Bastoni (Inter)
  • Paulo Dybala (Roma)
  • Rafael Leao (Milan)
  • Yann Sommer (Inter)
  • Christian Pulisic (Milan)
  • Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter)
  • Lewis Ferguson (Bologna)
  • Federico Dimarco (Inter)
  • Lorenzo Pellegrini (Roma)
  • Gleison Bremer (Juventus)
  • Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus)
  • Riccardo Calafiori (Bologna)

Image of the TOTS Serie A squad in EA FC 24

Despite Inter's sheer dominance, this has been one of the best Serie A seasons, continuing the trend set in recent years. Both Milan clubs are very well represented in this squad, but some of the most intriguing players are on the Bologna side, as Thiago Motta has led the team to an unlikely place in the Champions League spots.

You'd have the perfect midfield for a 4-3-3 with Calhanoglu, Ferguson, and Pellegrini - but there's not a single bad card in this entire main team.

On top of that, you've also got eight Moments cards, bringing fan-favourite players and representations of key points within the season into the team:

  • Victor Osimhen (Napoli)
  • Nicolo Barella (Inter)
  • Domenico Berardi (Sassuolo)
  • Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Napoli)
  • Adrien Rabiot (Juventus)
  • Ismael Bennacer (Milan)
  • Giovanni Di Lorenzo (Napoli)
  • Chris Smalling (Roma)

Image of three Serie A TOTS Moments cards in EA FC 24

I'd do anything to get that Barella card in my club, but he'll likely be a bit out of my price range. Furthermore, it's no surprise that 10th-placed Napoli had no players make it into the main squad, but you'll still be able to enjoy some special cards here despite the underperformance.

NWSL TOTS players

  • Sophia Smith (Portland Thorns)
  • Kerolin (North Carolina Courage)
  • Debinha (Kansas City Current)
  • Jenna Nighswonger (NY/NJ Gotham)
  • Naomi Girma (San Diego Wave)
  • Sam Coffey (Portland Thorns)
  • Jane Campbell (Houston Dash)
  • Lynn Williams (NY/NJ Gotham)

Image of the NWSL TOTS squad in EA FC 24

The NWSL is a bit of an odd one as it's one of the few leagues in the game that doesn't follow the 'standard' August-May seasonal structure, and instead runs from March-November.

This means that we're only just under halfway into the 2024 season, so I'd presume that the latter half of 2023 is also being considered. It doesn't matter for Sophia Smith either way though, as she topped the goalscoring charts last season, and continues to reign supreme in 2024 too.

Both Smith and Kerolin look to be the strongest of the bunch, but Debinha is certainly going to draw a lot of attention too with the addition of her silky skill moves.

You'll also be able to pick up three Moments cards too:

  • Alex Morgan (San Diego Wave)
  • Marta (Orlando Pride)
  • Sarah Gorden (Angel City)
