Who Is Skarn In Diablo Immortal?

All throughout Diablo Immortal Skarn is present as a threat looming in the distance. He even appears in the opening village to give the player a taste of what is to come.
In terms of lore, Skarn was at one time one of Diablo’s lieutenants and held control over the Realm of Damnation. He led a quest to obtain a shard of the Worldstone, with which he could remove the entire angelic side of humanity, meaning that all that remained was its demonic counterpart. Throughout the main quest you will encounter Skarn and his various followers as he searches for that shard and you attempt to get there before him.

Where To Find Skarn In Diablo Immortal
Click to enlargeYou will be able to find Skarn right at the end of the Diablo Immortal main quest in the Realm of Damnation zone.
To reach this point in the story you will have to be at least level 56, and have the quest which takes you to the Realm of Damnation. Once there, you will need to complete the Pit of Anguish dungeon, after which a portal will open up leading you to Skarn.

Click to enlargeThe Diablo Immortal Skarn boss fight can be largely split into two separate phases - which, compared to something like the Diablo Immortal Vitaath boss fight which has four phases, is not too bad. That’s not to say that Skarn is a cake walk though, as they are one of the most difficult bosses you will encounter before the post-game content.
The first phase of the Skarn boss fight will happen before you get them down to below a third of the health left. This phase consists largely of unthreatening standard attacks and then a laser beam you have to watch out for if you’re not careful. This beam can deal a ton of damage if you get caught in it, but it is fairly easy to dodge if you just keep moving to the side. Alongside this, Skarn can summon minions to fight alongside him, and they are no slouches either. Don’t be stubborn, and make sure to focus on taking them out before they do the same to you.

How To Know Which Is The Real Skarn
Click to enlargeIn the second phase, Skarn will create four mirror images of himself on the sides of the area, and you have a measly eight seconds to figure out which one is the real one and destroy it. It would be tricky enough trying to figure out which one is real without knowing the tell, but to do that and destroy it within eight seconds is rather tough.
Thankfully, there is an easy way to tell which is the real Skarn. If you look closely at all four of the Skarns, you should be able to see a red circle underneath one of them, signifying the true image of the boss.
Once you destroy the real Skarn image, the boss will reappear and continue the same attack rotation as in phase one. Depending on how much damage you’re able to put out you might have to complete the mirror image section again a couple of times, but it just depends on how fast the fight finishes.

What To Do After The Diablo Immortal Skarn Helliquary Raid
Click to enlargeOnce you have finished Scarn you will be approaching the Diablo Immortal max level of 60. This is not the end of the content, however, as there is a plethora of postgame raids, dungeons, and events for you to tackle.
Once you’ve maxed out the standard levelling you will move on to the Paragon level system, and work on increasing your Diablo Immortal combat rating too.
