The Diablo Immortal Shadow Lottery gives players an alternative method of joining the Shadow Faction, allowing them to take part in PvP combat against their sworn enemy - the Immortals. Diablo Immortal allows players to take part in both PvE and PvP content at various points in the game, meaning you can flex your class combinations and equipment to anyone. What is the Diablo Immortal Shadow Lottery?
The Shadow Lottery is a scheduled lottery event that takes place a few times every day for all players that meet the criteria to qualify for it. Players that win the lottery are allowed entry to the Shadow Faction if they can complete a series of objectives.
Before you can take part in the Shadow Lottery, you will need to have reached level 43 and finished the Bilefen questline which ends with The Cycle Begins. Finishing this quest will take you to Westmarch where you can learn about the Cycle of Strife and unlock entry to the lottery.
How To Join Diablo Immortal Shadow Lottery

The Shadow Lottery is available three times a day for one hour each, starting at 12pm, 6pm, and 9pm (server time), and you can join in by heading to the Wolf City Tavern in Westmarch and speaking to the Mysterious Patron. Once you've joined, you'll have to wait and touch wood in the hopes you get lucky enough to win. You'll know that you have won the lottery as you will get a message in your mailbox titled "Shadow Lottery Winner!".
This isn't the end though, as you will then need to finish a quest to actually join the Shadow Faction itself. Speak to the Mysterious Patron again, select the option "Shadow Mettle," and talk to the Bartender for a list of the objectives you will need to complete.
In short, players will need to complete the Path of Blood, impress the Master Vault Raider, and defeat the Three Ancient Champions. These are all fairly straightforward tasks that are signposted by the quest itself, and at the end, you will get an invitation to join the Shadow Faction, along with Akeba's Signet, which can be used to invite another player to the faction. You're now a member and are ready to take part in the PvP mode against the Immortals.
