You may want to know how the Diablo Immortal clans work and what functions they provide to players who decide to join up with others to play together. Diablo Immortal is a permanently online title that has lots of inspiration from the social aspects of MMOs, meaning it has plenty of ways to play with other players in events, PvP, and more. So for a primer on Diablo Immortal clans, including how to join and leave them, we've got you covered.

What Are Diablo Immortal Clans?

A clan is a group of players that have decided to join up together underneath a singular banner to play together or socialise with one another. However, don't confuse these with Diablo Immortal Warband Camps, which are much smaller. They also include group-specific features and options that players who aren't in clans can't access, such as the clan interface, clan chats, and clan roles.

How To Make Diablo Immortal Clan

A clan can be founded by a single player who is at least level 40 and has either 100,000 gold or 3000 platinum, meaning you'll need to have played the game for a while first. Clan leaders are also given the ability to add or remove members, and promote or demote players to different roles. Only 100 members can join at once, and clans are seasonal, meaning at the end of the game's first season, all clans will be disbanded, and new ones will need to be created for the second season.

Each clan is also aligned with one of three in-game factions: Immortals, Shadows, or Adventurers. The factions all compete with each other, and aligning your clan with a faction allows you to take part in PvP content against the others. There is also a special PvP event that players can take part in weekly if they are in a dark clan.

Diablo Immortal Dark Clan

Joining a dark clan requires you to participate in the Diablo Immortals Shadow Lottery to become part of the Shadows Faction, where you can elect to turn the clan into a dark clan. The clan officers for a dark clan have the option to set tasks for all the members, which will earn players special rewards and earn the clan dark clan experience. The 32 best dark clans will be allowed to take part in the Shadows War once a week, with the top ten going on to challenge the Immortal Clan.

You may wonder how to become an Immortal in Diablo Immortal, as it's the peak of clan-based gameplay and is a sign of prestige within PvP. Beating the Immortal Clan when facing them will allow your clan to replace them, and this comes with some benefits too, as you can invite other clans to join under the umbrella of Immortal. You will of course need to defend the title though, and every week there will be new competition.

Joining a clan is pretty simple and just requires you to have reached level 30 in-game first. Once you've met the criteria, you can join up with a clan by going to the main menu and clicking on your adventurer. Tap the 'Clans' button and go to 'Clan Details.' This will bring up a list of existing clans you can scroll through, as well as a search function if you want to find something specific. Apply for the clan you want and if your request is accepted, you will be a member. You can also create a clan from this same page by clicking 'Create Clan' but remember that it's quite costly.

How To Leave Diablo Immortal Clan

The process to leave a clan is also as simple as joining one, and can be done from the Clan interface screen. Just tap the ellipses (three dots) and it should bring up a menu where the bottom option will say 'Leave Clan'.

That's all for our primer on Diablo Immortal clans, and now you know how they function in-game, along with how to join or leave them.
