If you’ve been getting stuck into Diablo 4 Season 2, you may be a little bit confused as to how you can progress the Summons of the Deathless questline - which is also the first you are given in the most recent content offering from Blizzard.

Diablo 4’s second season is in full swing, allowing you to gain Vampiric powers and explore your chosen class' new levels of strength and power when battling the spawns of Hell in the game

If you find that you're stuck in the Summons of the Deathless storyline in Diablo 4, however, don’t panic - we’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to progress the storyline below.

Completing the Summons of the Deathless quest

First things first: Before you even get into the questline, you'll need to speak with the Magistrate so that you can begin Season 2 of Diablo 4. Once you’ve spoken to the hunter, you’ll then have to examine three items highlighted in green.

Now that you’ve done this, you’ll have your very first encounter with the Vampiric Lord. Once that happens, it seems as if there are no more quest objectives for you to complete.

However, in order to complete the Summons of the Deathless quest, you'll actually need to complete Chapter One’s missions of the Seasonal Journey, of which there are eight tasks in total for you to complete:

  • The Crimson Garden: Collect 10 Reddamine from Dry Steppes
  • Kind Stranger: Complete three priority or side quests
  • What Lurks Below: Complete a Cellar
  • Waste Not: Salvage seven items at the Blacksmith or Jeweler
  • Across the Golden Wastes: Complete two Dungeons in Dry Steppes
  • Trouble in the Wilds: Complete a World Event
  • Contract Forged: Find a piece of Pact armour, available after completing or skipping the campaign
  • A Drop of Blood: Activate a Vampiric power, available after completing or skipping the campaign

Once you’ve done all eight of these missions, you will have then completed the Summons of the Deathless questline and continue on with your Season 2 journey.

And that’s everything you need to know about how to complete the Summons of the Deathless quest in Diablo 4 for Season 2.
