Delta Force Hawk Ops closed alpha: How to get in & start date
The closed alpha for Delta Force Hawk Ops gives players a great chance to try the free-to-play FPS out, but you'll need to first know how to get in and when it starts.
How to access the closed alpha
There are three ways to access the closed alpha test for Delta Force Hawk Ops:
- Through the official website, after pressing the 'Join Test' button and filling out the survey
- Through the Steam Playtest Feature on the game's official page by pressing the 'Request Access' button
- Through Twitch Drops and Community Giveaways on official social media channels and through your favourite participating streamers
If you've signed up before the alpha goes live you should find out if you've been successful on August 5, but access will continuously be granted post-launch.
Additionally, if you received access to the recent Technical Test you'll automatically be granted access to the alpha too.
When does the closed alpha start?
You can dive into the closed alpha on August 6, 2024, at 1:00 AM BST. This is a global launch time, so your own time zone will be different.
- 17:00 August 5 (PST)
- 19:00 August 5 (CT)
- 20:00 August 5 (ET)
- 00:00 August 6 (GMT)
- 02:00 August 6 (CEST)
There currently isn't any information regarding the closing date of the alpha, but I don't expect it to last much longer than a week or two.
Does alpha progress carry over?
Unfortunately, it's been confirmed that any progress you make during the closed alpha of Delta Force Hawk Ops will not carry over to the full release of the game.
This is due to the work-in-progress nature of the build, as the developers prefer a clean state when the game reaches its launch.
