All Dead Island 2 playable characters

There are six playable characters (called slayers in-game) set to be in Dead Island 2, all of whom have their own unique background, aesthetic, stats, and special innate skills. Here's a list of all of them, and a quick description of what sets them apart:

Amy

Amy is a Paralympian sprinter whose attitude toward life has changed very little during the zombie apocalypse, with even the end of the world not being enough to break her chill attitude.

Innate Skills:

• Divide & Conquer - Amy gets a minor damage boost when she attacks isolated zombies.
• Relief Pitcher - Amy regains stamina when hitting a zombie with a weapon throw.

Ryan

Ryan is an exotic dancer with a summer body to die for. Stubborn and pessimistic, yet loyal to his family, his main goal during the apocalypse is to find his little brother.

Innate Skills:

• Retaliation - Ryan gets a moderate force boost when using block or dodge to avoid an attack.
• Seesaw - Ryan regains health each time he knocks down a zombie.

Carla

Carla is a motorcycle stunt rider with unshakable confidence and an outgoing disposition, who has taken to the apocalypse and its thrills with enthusiasm.

Innate Skills:

• Dig Deep - Carla gets a moderate toughness boost while her health is critical.
• Mosh Pit - Carla get a minor damage boost when close to multiple zombies.

Bruno

Born on the streets of LA, Bruno has lived a rough life that's prepared him for the zombie apocalypse. A calculated hustler who has always has a plan, he knows exactly what it takes to pull off risky moves.

Innate Skills:

• Backstab - Bruno gets a moderate damage boost when attacking zombies from behind.
• Rapid Reprisal - Boost Bruno's agility and heavy attack charges when he avoids attacks with a block or dodge.

Dani

Dani is a headstrong rockabilly brawler who hails from Cork, Ireland. While she may be new to the mean streets of LA and apocalypse, she has the determination to plough through any challenge and keep on surviving.

Innate Skills:

• Bloodlust - Dani regains health when slaying multiple zombies in quick succession.
• Thunderstruck - Dani's heavy attacks trigger a forceful explosion on impact.

Jacob

Jacob cares little for self-preservation and a healthy lifestyle, but he revels in slaying the undead across California, making this newly acquired life perfect for him.

Innate Skills:

• Feral - Jacob gets a stackable minor damage boost when attacking in quick succession.
• Critical Gains - Jacob gets a moderate critical damage boost while his stamina is low. Critical hits regain stamina.
