Health, Stamina, and Mana are the main three bars you'll need to manage when playing Black Myth: Wukong, and as you progress through your journey increasing them will be vital to survival.

How to increase Health, Stamina & Mana

There are two main ways to increase these three stats: Skill Points and Pills.

Skill Points

Skill Points are called Sparks in Black Myth, and under the Survival Tree, you can separately increase Health, Stamina, or Mana.

Health and Stamina are available to upgrade from the start, with six tiers, each costing one Spark.

The ability to increase Mana in the survival tree is unlocked at level 30, with each upgrade costing two Sparks.

These are all only moderate increases, but it's worth maxing out each one anyway.

Pills

Pills are what provide the big Health, Stamina, and Mana boosts in the game, meaning you'll want to seek out as many of these as possible. Each Pill boosts a separate stat:

  • Jade Lotus Pill - Health
  • Nonary Pill - Stamina
  • Taiyi Pill - Mana

These Pills can occasionally be found when exploring across the game, often in circular containers.

The most reliable way of securing these is Xu Dog, an NPC found before the final boss of the second chapter (Crouching Tiger Temple Cellar Shrine) who can craft Pills and other medicines from Mind Cores, a material you'll pick up from enemies and chests.

With the nearby Shrine, you can fast-travel back to this NPC in any chapter to continue increasing your stats.

An additional method of increasing these stats worth mentioning is through Curios. These are items you can equip to provide passive buffs. I've only one so far that increases the maximum Stamina, but none for Health or Mana.
