Take advantage of the building menu

A key feature of BattleBit Remastered is the ability to build. Using your shared Squad Points, you can bring up a menu with the middle mouse button and construct walls, sandbags, and special gadgets. 

The barriers you can construct are particularly important and have many effective uses. Firstly, if you're caught without cover, it's a great way to ensure you're protected. Constructing a quick wall is also a great way to protect a teammate that needs reviving. Finally, you can use constructs to reach higher ground, so don't be afraid to get creative when building.

This is exactly what it says on the tin, if a fellow player is downed but not dead yet, you can drag them behind cover to ensure no one finishes them off. This also makes Medic's jobs way easier, so don't forget about your team amidst the chaos.

To make things even easier, it's worth binding both drag and revive to the same button. This lets you bring downed players back into the fray while on the move.

The biggest game mode is all about capturing points and holding them, so running around and collecting kills to stroke your ego won't help your team as much as you think. The more players you have on your team with an ethos of focusing on the objective, the better placed you'll be to win - so make sure you're one of them. 

Don't reload immediately and consolidate your rounds

It can be tempting to reload instantly after securing a kill - I mean, who doesn't want a full magazine for security? However, with 126 other enemies to worry about in the biggest mode, it's easy to get taken out while you're filling back up. We suggest you ensure you're safe before reloading in the game by finding cover.

Another thing to worry about is ammo consolidation. If you reload with a mag that still has bullets left, that ammo is lost and won't be added back to your ammo pool unless you consolidate it by holding P and moving the bullets to your remaining mags.
