BattleBit Remastered has taken Steam by storm, with tonnes of players jumping in to experience the Battlefield-inspired gameplay and destructive fun that comes with it. The game can be a little overwhelming at first, but with some pointers to help you get started, you'll be toying with the enemy in no time.

So, read on for our BattleBit Remastered tips that will help you win games.

BattleBit Remastered tips

Take advantage of the building menu

A key feature of BattleBit Remastered is the ability to build. Using your shared Squad Points, you can bring up a menu with the middle mouse button and construct walls, sandbags, and special gadgets.

The barriers you can construct are particularly important and have many effective uses. Firstly, if you're caught without cover, it's a great way to ensure you're protected. Constructing a quick wall is also a great way to protect a teammate that needs reviving. Finally, you can use constructs to reach higher ground, so don't be afraid to get creative when building.

Destruction is always useful

Our second BattleBit Remastered tip encompasses this phrase, "when in doubt, just blow everything up". Considering the level of destruction that you're capable of in the game, blowing things up should always be an option you consider.

If you need an entry point, blow a hole in the wall; if enemies have you pinned down from a building, make that building no more. There are plenty of ways to make use of the game's granular destruction, ranging from weapons to gadgets and vehicles.

Use the drag ability to get friends out of tight spots

Another super useful feature in BattleBit Remastered is the ability to drag teammates. This is exactly what it says on the tin, if a fellow player is downed but not dead yet, you can drag them behind cover to ensure no one finishes them off. This also makes Medic's jobs way easier, so don't forget about your team amidst the chaos.

To make things even easier, it's worth binding both drag and revive to the same button. This lets you bring downed players back into the fray while on the move.

Don't forget about your gadgets

It can be easy to get caught up in the loop of shooting your way out of every problem, but with the game's classes, everyone has gadgets that can be used in a multitude of ways. These add a lot of depth to the gameplay, allowing you to solve many problems.

For example, if you're struggling to push to an objective, throw out a smoke grenade to provide cover, or place down anti-vehicle mines to secure a chokepoint. There's a gadget for every problem, you just need to know how to use them.

PTFO

A classic acronym in multiplier gaming, PTFO stands for play the f*cking objective, and it's just as relevant as ever in BattleBit Remastered. The biggest game mode is all about capturing points and holding them, so running around and collecting kills to stroke your ego won't help your team as much as you think. The more players you have on your team with an ethos of focusing on the objective, the better placed you'll be to win - so make sure you're one of them.

Don't reload immediately and consolidate your rounds

It can be tempting to reload instantly after securing a kill - I mean, who doesn't want a full magazine for security? However, with 126 other enemies to worry about in the biggest mode, it's easy to get taken out while you're filling back up. We suggest you ensure you're safe before reloading in the game by finding cover.

Another thing to worry about is ammo consolidation. If you reload with a mag that still has bullets left, that ammo is lost and won't be added back to your ammo pool unless you consolidate it by holding P and moving the bullets to your remaining mags.

Armour is the meta

Right now, it seems that the players who are doing the best are making sure they're armoured up to the gills, making it a key BattleBit Remastered tip. Before loading into a match, you're given the chance to select your loadout, where you can also select armour pieces for your body.

It's important to make sure you have enough durability that being surprised isn't a total death sentence. The advantage will still be with the player who shoots first, but it gives you time to react and stay alive. Just remember that too much armour will slow you down, so find a happy medium that works for you and provides decent protection.

Stay in squads

Communication is key in multiplayer gaming, especially so in a game like BattleBit Remastered where everyone is sorted into small squads of players. It's worth noting this can be made easier by creating or joining a clan, as it allows you to join bigger squads.

Talk to your team, plan, strategise, and make sure you've got each other's back, or a more prepared squad can easily come along and send you right back to spawn.

That's all for our breakdown of the best beginner tips and tricks for BattleBit Remastered, and now you know a few ways to ensure you survive longer and perform better.
