Assassin's Creed Mirage release time is fast approaching, meaning fans should be able to preload the game very soon.

Assassin's Creed Mirage brings the franchise back to basics, with the game taking direct inspiration from the first few titles in the series.

Release times can be different depending on the game, as can how preloading works. Here's everything we know about the release time of Assassin's Creed Mirage, and when you should be able to preload.

Can you preload Assassin's Creed Mirage yet?

As of right now, players cannot yet preload Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Specific preload details have not yet been announced for Assassin's Creed Mirage, but looking at previous Ubisoft games, it seems likely that fans will be able to preload the game up to 48 hours before launch.

This would suggest that players who pre-order the game could begin installing it on October 3. This has not been confirmed, but it is highly likely based on previous Ubisoft releases. While AC Mirage is not the biggest game in the franchise, the Assassin's Creed Mirage download size is not insignificant.

If you want to be ready to go on launch day, you will likely want to preload the game.

The exact release time for Assassin's Creed Mirage is midnight on October 5.

Typically, Ubisoft games release at midnight local time, meaning those in the east will get access to the game before the rest of the world catches up. This sometimes leads to players setting up accounts in places like New Zealand to get a few hours of early access.
