You will want to know the current Apex Legends level cap, as it has changed over time as new seasons have been introduced, allowed players to climb even higher in the game.

For a long time, the Apex Legends level cap was stagnant, leaving players who had reached the max rank with no more ceilings to smash through unless they played ranked mode. With Season 14 that all changed though, so if you are wondering, what is the Apex Legends level cap? We've got you covered with our explainer of the level cap in the game

  • Make sure to also check out the Apex Legends Season 17 hub, which covers the release date, new character, and more.

The current Apex Legends level cap is 2000, which was added on August 9, 2022. However, that doesn't mean you just progress through 2000 levels linearly, as instead, you will progress through 500 levels in four separate tiers that come with a unique badge and colour to show off.

When Apex Legends first launched, the level cap was a mere 100. Then, in December 2019, the level cap was raised to 500. It took almost three years after the cap of 500 to be raised again, but with 2000 levels to go through, players should be busy for another few years at least.

Apex Packs

With more levels comes more rewards. Players frozen at the long-standing level cap of 500 have an opportunity to earn more free Apex Packs.

Due to the 1500 new levels available, players can grab an extra 345 Apex Packs, totalling at 544 with all the levels combined. This means players will be able to guarantee an heirloom quality item if they progress through all the levels.

Level Badges

Each 500-level tier now gives players new badges to work through, changing the colours and the effects on the badges with every 50 levels you reach.

Level Gun Charms

To pair with your new Level Badges, look out for more Level Gun Charms every 100 levels. Rock these Level Badge Gun Charms around the Apex Games to flex your newly earned levels.

That's our explainer of the Apex Legends level cap, and now you know how high you can climb, and what rewards are available to you along the way.
