We’ve had some truly horrendous Warzone metas in the past. DMRs, Dragon-Breath shotguns, and dual-wield automatic pistols are just some that come to mind.

Over in Warzone 2 though, we’ve barely had any deviation in the meta since the game launched, and fans have long been calling for a change in weaponry to build new playstyles.

So after months of grinding guns like the ISO Hemlock and the RPK, Call of Duty has finally mixed up the meta and brought out some incredibly overpowered weapons to entice players into a new way to play. It’s a shame they chose Akimbo Snakeshots though, as Warzone players hate the new mate and have labelled it as "the worst of all time".

In Season 4 reloaded, if you’re not being torched alive with Homelander’s laser vision, you’ll be feeling the wrath of the Akimbo Snakeshot pistols or the overwhelming fire rate of the automatic pistol.

For the first time ever in Warzone (Riot Shields aside), players are actively using two secondary weapons with the Basilisk (Magnum) pistol being joined by the X13 pistol in many players’ loadouts, leaving SMGs and Assault rifles to rot in the dust.

But even though players are adopting it to rack up wins, a sense of self-loathing is being omitted, as they are taking to social media to say, "I present the worst meta combination of all time!"

Many fans also pointed out that the guns are very "flick-based", which only really benefits mouse and keyboard players, worsening the meta as it's unfair to controller players who cannot move that fast.

Some others did keep the DMR meta as the most unbearable though, with one fan saying, "There isn't a single weapon in the history of Warzone that comes even close to how broken the DMR rifle was."

But there's no denying that these weapon combinations have to go away as soon as possible.

What do we have to do to get the Grauzone back or revisit the Bruen meta in this new Warzone age?
