Warzone 2 Map Confirmed As 'Al Mazrah': Biggest Map Ever Made

Following on from Blackout, Verdansk, and Caldera, Infinity Ward has now named the next map that will lay host to Call of Duty's battle royale experience.

With Warzone 2 on the horizon, Infinity Ward took to the Call of Duty: Next showcase to detail the future of the battle royale genre within the illustrious FPS franchise.

In accordance with leaks earlier in the day, the developers have now confirmed that the upcoming Warzone 2 map will be called Al Mazrah.

Warzone 2 Devs Announce Al Mazrah Map

Al Mazrah will be the new Warzone 2 map. Featuring a wealth of stunning white marble buildings and running rivers throughout the landscape, Al Mazrah appears to lean into Call of Duty's middle-eastern influence.

The developers have also claimed that Al Mazrah is the largest Call of Duty map ever made.

 

Warzone 2 Map and POIs Confirmed 

As the map has now been revealed, so have all of the Points of Interest (POIs), which contain some more than familiar places.

A range of Modern Warfare sub-franchise maps have been reimagined to feature in Al Mazrah, including Highrise (within Al Mazrah City) and Quarry. A full list of Warzone 2 Al Mazrah POIs are as follows:

  • Quarry
  • Rohan Oil
  • Al Mazrah City
  • Caves
  • Hydroelectric
  • Marshlands
  • Port
  • Sa’id City
  • Observatory
  • Al Sharim Pass
  • Cemetery
  • Abkdar Village
  • Sawah Village
  • Sarrif Bay
  • Fortress
  • Airport

The map is set to be followed by a Resurgence design in mid-2023 and will be released on November 16.
