The old-school compLexity roster of the early Call of Duty esports days, is still known to this day as being one of the best two sides that have ever graced the game, alongside the prime OpTic Gaming roster.

Before a rebranding and a change of direction in the esports they participated in, coL was once a dynasty in Call of Duty, where they won 12 out of 16 events that they entered between June 2013 and September 2014, including the Call of Duty 2014 World Championships.

With a core roster of Patrick "Aches" Price, Tyler "TeePee" Polchow, and Ian "Crimsix" Porter, alongside either James "Clayster" Eubanks or Damon "Karma" Barlow, Complexity dominated the latter half of the Black Ops 2 era and most of the Ghosts season before Karma opted to leave the squad going into Advanced Warfare

The side is known as one of two dynasties within Call of Duty history - albeit with stiff competition from the current Atlanta FaZe roster that has been dominant for two years. With such a storied history in the esport, their newest addition to an ever-growing content creation list, and part co-owner of the organisation, Timothy "TimTheTatman" John Betar has claimed he would "love to see complexity in the CDL."

Speaking on a stream in the Complexity complex, TimTheTatman said, "I would love a Complexity CDL team, personally. Because, being a big Call of Duty fan, growing up in Call of Duty and when you think back, you know, you guys remember like OG Complexity CDL team.

"I’d personally love to see complexity in CDL, I would love it. And that is something I have said too because I love CDL, I love Call of Duty, and now being with Complexity, but we will see man."

Many high-profile streamers are now trying to follow in the footsteps of Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag who launched the Los Angeles Thieves into the CDL, with TimTheTatman joining "Dr.Disrespect" on wishing for a CDL team.

However, with a suspected $25 million buy-in to the CDL, and no visible plans for expansion, yet, who knows whether TimTheTatman will have his dream come true...
