Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff and Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar became the first ever content creators to receive their own Operators in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

However, Activision made the decision to remove Kolcheff's cosmetic bundle from the game over anti-LGBTQ+ comments from the streamer.

Following this, a lot of the community was waiting on a response from Tim on the topic, and the popular CoD personality finally responded by asking for his bundle to be removed as well. Well, Call of Duty has done exactly, removing TimTheTatman's skin from the store so it's no longer available to purchase.

Taking to Twitter on June 10, TimTheTatman asked Call of Duty to remove his skin bundle from the game. The streamer claimed he made the decision "in support" of his friend NICKMERCS, arguing it felt wrong for him to still have an Operator when Nick's had been removed.

Shortly after this, Tim's skin bundle was pulled from the store. It comes after Kolcheff doubled down on his divisive comments and #istandwithnickmercs started trending on Twitter. The issue has split CoD fandom and players down the middle, with many calling out Kolcheff and others standing firmly by him.

Has TimTheTatman's skin been deleted from MW2 & WZ2?

Although Tim's skin is no longer available to purchase in the store, anyone who bought the cosmetic before it was removed will still be able to use it in-game. It's unclear whether the NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman bundles will be back in the store or if the pair will even allow their skins to return.

Activision has not completely deleted the skin from MW2 and Warzone 2, it has just pulled him from the storefront. For now, it's unknown whether the devs will be offering refunds to players who purchased these skins after recent events, we'll just have to wait and see.
