Apex Legends is truly on the rise as they enter the tenth season of existence. Having added a whole array of new features, including a sleek omnipresent Legend named Seer, the flashy battle royale has enticed some of the biggest content creators in the world, topping the genre's viewership charts after months of being in Warzone's shadow.

As the stale meta and undeniable hacking problem in Warzone, many of Call of Duty's most successful talents are fleeing to Apex Legends, and falling in love with the title. The like of Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff labelled the game as "f***ing incredible", whilst Jack "CouRage" Dunlop has been grinding his way through the ranks.

Now, Timothy "TimTheTatman" John Betar has also made the switch, and reaped the rewards.

TimTheTatman Tops Warzone Viewership With Apex Legends Stream

After making the switch to Apex Legends, TimTheTatman has been saving up his packs in between grinding through the ranks with fellow streamers.

The content creator then decided to do a mass pack opening, with 500 Apex Packs in the bank.

With 113 left, Tim took a second to look at the viewership numbers and realised his stream was being watched by more people than the entirety of Warzone streamers.

"We've got 117,000 viewers here, and I just want you all to know you're all gambling addicts," Tim joked, before adding "I currently, opening 500 Apex Packs, have more viewers than the entire Warzone category."

At the time, Warzone was sat at 116,000 viewers, whilst Tim was beating them by a couple of hundred avid fans.

The pack opening was in the hunt of Caustic's heirloom, in which it took the content creator 469 packs to gather enough shards to create his earth-shattering hammer.

It appears that until Activision fix their hacker problem, the top personalities will continue to grind on Apex Legends, which isn't surprising seeing how many fans are tuning in.
