The Wolf Among Us 2 tease reminds us it still exists
After Telltale Games went under back in 2018, the future of the developer has been hard to gauge for some time now. Telltale laid off a huge 250 staff members and kept only a skeleton crew to finish off the company's The Walking Dead series.
Now that Telltale has been dug out of the hole it found itself in by new owners, players don't know what to expect. We've wondered from a distance what could be next for the company, and a new reveal from Telltale has reminded us, oh yeah, The Wolf Among Us 2 is still coming.

We've got a new look at The Wolf Among Us 2 after a long period of quiet from Telltale, and fans are pretty shocked to see that the game actually still exists.
Geoff Keighley has shared a fresh look at Bigby Wolf as he stands on a New York City-style rooftop in Fabletown. The famed detective is holding what looks like a gun, and we also get a look at the hyper-stylised gameplay as we peek over Bigby's shoulder.
Although a fleeting glimpse, that's all we can ask for now, especially as players are being reminded of its existence. One fan said, "Thank god they showed something I was starting to get worried," while another added, "NOW in production?? what have they been doing? 😭😭😭."
It's hard to blame fans for being out of the loop because it's been some time since we saw anything about the game. With Telltale Games' collapse and quiet rebuilding, its reappearance is a surprise on two counts.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is hugely exciting for its most dedicated fans, but even when those same fans have a tendency to forget that it's coming, it doesn't exactly bode well for the hype train moving when its release nears. Still, we'll take any chance to return to Fabletown, especially after the hefty wait we've suffered so far.
