Money, money, money, must be funny in Grand Theft Auto Online. PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim one million dollars (for free) on the PS Store. It's a nice little treat from Rockstar for those that love the online multiplayer aspect of the developer's biggest franchise.

How Do Players Get The Free Money In GTA Online?

Money is the only way you can do anything of worth in GTA Online, allowing you to invest in your criminal enterprises and buy new cars, weapons, and drip. As the newest GTA 5 remaster is on its way early next year, Rockstar and Sony are teaming up to gift PlayStation Plus players some free money to help you on your journey into the criminal underworld.

To take your prize home, just simply turn on your PlayStation console of choice and head over to the store. Once you are there, type in the search bar “GTA Online PS Plus”  and it should ask you to click a download button. From there, if you head into GTA Online, the cash will be deposited into your Maze Bank account, ready to consume until your heart's content. If the money isn’t available right away, don’t worry, as it can take up to 72 hours to arrive.

What Is Going On In GTA Online At The Moment?

It seems Grand Theft Auto has just earned $247 million in the second quarter of this year, with most of the thanks going toward the online aspect, due to its microtransactions. What is going on in GTA Online these days, and what can you do with the one million dollars you’ve just acquired?

One of the more recent updates was the Los Santos Tuners expansion, which added a total of 17 new cars over the course of the summer for players to race 'n' chase in. Cars like the Vapid Dominator GTT and Vulcar Warrener HKR were included after the update, which can be unlocked by winning races and joining the car meetups that are part of the expansion.

To those of you just getting involved or diving back in after a while, you just missed the Halloween event, where scary stalkers chased down players in GTA Online and murdered them in cold blood.

Elsewhere in GTA, the Remastered Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is set to release on November 11 and features the original 3D GTA titles, freshly renewed with better textures, models, lighting, and more.
