As the world opens its arms to competitive esports once again, Red Bull are taking full control and driving the mobile scene to a stellar podium. After a quick pit-stop during the global pandemic, Red Bull have announced their Mobile Esports Open will return for its fourth season.

The Red Bull MEO is returning to the grid with the likes of PUBG MOBILE and League of Legends: Wild Rift being the most prominent titles that will be played on.

Boasting an extension to 30 countries worldwide, the MEO will allow all players to rise through the ranks of their chosen mobile esports to dominate their nation. Niche titles such as World Cricket Championship will also be available to compete in, especially in countries such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India. Other titles will be available upon demand in different regions.

Red Bull MEO Season 4 Dates

The multi-game tournament will be kicking off in July and spanning until December. The event will see competitions held on a national level and international. All 30 countries will have an event held to crown national treasures in the six-month-long esports celebration.

International Online Qualifiers for Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East, will also take place in this time frame. Europe will be competing on League of Legends: Wild Rift, whilst South East Asia and the Middle East racing for the finish line in PUBG Mobile.

Over 60,000 players enrolled in Season 3, back in May 2020, with many more expected to turn out this time around.

The winners will earn unique rewards for coming out on top, although Red Bull have yet to confirm what these will be. Previous years did see the Red Bull MEO Finals jet players out to a 'virtual' Istanbul for a 12-day-long mobile gaming festival, which could become a reality this year.
