Pokemon has housed all sorts of adorable additions over the years, with companions who are your best friend, but capable of fiery oblivion at the same time.

But regardless of whether you're a Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander main, the Pokemon series wouldn't be nearly as successful without the help of a human touch. With that, let's remember that Nurse Joy is really the backbone of the Pokemon community.

With the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC, a new Nurse Joy makes her debut and looks like she's had quite the makeover. With a new region, there's a new Nurse Joy, as this one leaves thirsty fans with mouths wider than a sleeping Snorlax.

Nurse Joy has been a part of Pokemon for generations, timelessly mending the creatures and beasts that have been wounded in battle or training.

But with the arrival of the Teal Mask DLC, it looks like she's been enjoying some time off and has undergone quite a transformation, as Nurse Joy has changed regions and appearance.

A new leak has shown Joy has relocated for the Teal Mask DLC, and with the emergence of areas such as Kitakami Roa, Mossui Town, and Oni Mountain, there's a different Nurse Joy who sports a look that better represents characters from these regions.

Pokemon fans are loving the new Nurse Joy... too much

The new Nurse Joy has quickly been discussed, with the perky nature of her character being swapped for a not-so-joyous glare. Many fans instantly began saying Joy now has an attitude and has adopted the teenage care-free approach.

"Her dialogue would be like: 'Hey champion, welcome to the Pokémon centre... Can you please just stop hurting your Pokémon for once? Is the third time that I see you today'," one fan jibed.

"She looks like she just found out that she could’ve saved money on her car insurance a little too late," a second fan joked. Others joked that her new look is also a bit of an upgrade. "She’s a baddie," said another fan though, clearly crushing a bit on the refreshed character.

"Oh ScaVio is just taking every opportunity to give us bad b***hes," added another, while a final concluded, "Gives me Jesse vibes. She did want to become a nurse." The Teal Mask DLC is expected to arrive on September 13, where you will be in for a side order of sass every time you go to heal your buddies.
