Many Overwatch collaborations have come and gone, and some are more popular than others. The entire LE SARAFFIM collection, LEGO Bastion, and Moira's Lilith look are some of the more popular ones in years gone by, but the less said about Orisa's Starcraft skin, the better.

But when it comes to collaborations, Blizzard cooks up quite the snowstorm, hitting the mark more often than not. So it comes as little surprise that the upcoming Transformers collab is everything that Overwatch fans expected and more.

Autobots, Decepticons, and heroes collide as Blizzard has officially unveiled the not-so-secret crossover with Transformers - bringing the best of the franchises together.

The bitter rivalry between Optimus Prime and Megatron will be played out by fellow tans Reinhardt (dubbed Prime-hardt) and Ramttra, respectively. The Autobots will come in stronger with reinforcements from Bumble Bee Bastion and Acree Illari.

The quadfecta is on par with other crossovers, with the likes of Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man, and Le Sserafim boasting a four-way skin line.

Overwatch hits the mark again with Transformers collab

With the bar already set high, the Transformers skins appear to have fans absolutely delighted, which shows how well-executed the collaboration looks.

"This has to be one of the most peakiest animations ever. PlayOverwatch you have done beautiful work with this collab. I can’t wait," said one popular comment.

Others enjoyed the individual skins, especially the fan-favourite Illari. "ILLARI TRANSFORMERS SKIN W!!!! I LOVE HER!!!" bellowed one fan in an excited tweet. "If they manage to actually turn Bastion's turret form into a mini car I’d be impressed, that would look so cool," added another.

Overwatch x Transformers will launch on July 9, where poor Ramattra will have to fend off a barrage of missiles and rubber wheels as the Autobots roll out.
