Season 4 Reloaded is well underway in Warzone 2, and now the meta has settled, players are finally discovering all of the top-tier picks that dominate the battlefield.

When it comes to close-quarters, SMGs and shotguns are always a solid choice. But for raw damage output, you can't beat an akimbo setup.

Well, WZ2 expert WhosImmortal believes they've found an "overpowered" akimbo loadout that's "unbeatable" in enclosed spaces. It's so strong, the YouTuber has described it as "widely broken" and is convinced that the devs may have to step in with a nerf.

  • Barrel: 10.5" FTAC Arrow
  • Laser: REVO-LSD 7MW
  • Trigger Action: Bryson Match Grade
  • Ammunition: .500 Snakeshot
  • Rear Grip: Akmibo Basilisk

Breaking down the stats, WhosImmortal showcased in their video that the akimbo Snakeshots have 422ms TTK up to 8m.

This effectively makes them "unbeatable" compared to any other weapon when it comes to face-to-face combat. As a result, they're a top-tier secondary in Season 4 Reloaded to run alongside your favourite AR or LMG.

In WhosImmortal's opinion, the akimbo Snakeshots are "busted beyond belief" and are likely going to get nerfed very soon. It's hard to know how long these guns are going to remain "overpowered" because it's very likely that the devs have unintentionally changed their devastating damage profile.

This means it's key you make use of the Snakeshots in your games before it's too late, as a hotfix could be on the way.

According to WZRanked, the Basilisk or Snakeshots has an incredibly high 5.8% pick rate in Season 4 Reloaded, as players have caught on that they're immensely strong at the moment.

This puts them sixth in the overall popularity rankings, and based on their TTK stats, this is only going to continue rising until the devs step in.

So, if you want to compete at close range, it's essential you make use of the Snakeshots, or you're likely to lose your gunfights to anyone with them equipped.
