The incredibly popular streamer, Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff, recently moved from Warzone to Apex Legends. And it looks like the man who built his career on Call of Duty is now looking at ways in which the game could learn from Apex

What Does NICKMERCS Think Apex Is Better Than Warzone At?

Speaking during a stream, he said that Apex is the best battle royale for armour and shield, and reckons it's time that Warzone took a look at how it should be done.

He said: "I think Apex has one of the best health systems I've ever played, man. I love the shield system, I love the shield swap, I love the way you can gain shield on damage, I think it's an added skill gap, and it encourages you to run around the map a little more. Helps with camping, of course, cos with battle royales, it's a big, big issue."

What Else Did NICKMERCS Say About Apex And Warzone?

He continued to praise the game: "This is the best game I've played for armour, it's the best battle royale for armour and shield. The best. I f*cking love it. Here's what I love about it: this is the only battle royale where, you know, if you don't have good shields, at least you can earn it."

Call of Duty was a recurring theme in the stream, where NICKMERCS would continue to refer back to it as a comparison of how it shouldn't be done, and how Apex was killing it: "I always said in Call of Duty that I thought that when you gotta kill, they should've put a plate on for you or something like that, I love that concept a lot, I loved back in the day."

He then read out a comment from a fan, who said: "Call of Duty Warzone, the one thing that p*ssed me off was an armour plate didn't equal full play," to which NICKMERCS exclaimed: "DUDE. Same. F*cking hate that sh*t."

When it came to suggestions for the game to improve, Nick simply said: "The difference in Apex is that they have batteries. Maybe CoD should have like, a bigger armour... something." Later suggesting that a 'super plate' would be a good idea, where it fills up all of your armour.
