Leaks claim Xbox Game Pass is adding more Activision Blizzard games next month

Since its merger with Activision, Microsoft has yet to really milk its udders and start enjoying the rewards of the $69 billion worth of assets.

But with Diablo IV now on Xbox Game Pass and Black Ops 6 landing soon as the first major day-one release attributed to the deal, Activision and Microsoft's relationship finally looks to be kickstarting.

Now, leaks suggest that a string of Activision's biggest IPs are on the way to Game Pass, with the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Tony Hawk all being tipped to land on Microsoft's service.

According to eXputer, and corroborated by a Windowscentral report, the Crash N'Sane Trilogy (boasting the remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped), will be landing on Xbox Games Pass in August, after releasing on the platform in 2018.

The N'Sane Trilogy is now owned by Blizzard Albany after its acquisition of Vicarious Visions, and after Diablo IV, would mark the second string of games under the Activision banner to land on Xbox Game Pass. 

The fun doesn't stop there, either. The Spyro and Tony Hawk IPs are also slated for a Game Pass release "very soon," although neither report could confirm whether these franchises would be coming in August or whether we'd have to wait a bit longer.

Considering Black Ops will be launching in October, it would make sense to have August as the month of the Bandicoot, then Spyro scorching a tailflip on Tony Hawk's kit to stagger the releases of the Activision catalogue in September. 

There's still no news on when Activision wants to drop the big hammer in its arsenal, though, with over a decade's worth of compatible Call of Duty legacy titles at its disposal to lump on Game Pass. Either way, Microsoft will likely want to prove that its investment has been worth it.
