Move over King Kong, you've been usurped by a new prince of pain thanks to Modern Warfare 3's all-star Season 5 update.

Season 5 was always dubbed to be more muscle than finesse after the WWE lineup of Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley was announced as the official collaboration.

But the extent of how ferociously the pain barrier would be ramped up was not clear, and players have been blown away by some upcoming finishing moves that will send enemies flying thousands of feet in the air.

Previously, King Kong's "Yeet" finishing move was one of the most popular for its barbaric launching of a corpse-ified enemy through the skies, watching the lifeless limbs crash into a building 100 yards away.

But the gargantuan gorilla has now had its throne stolen by an upcoming finisher of similar ilk.

One finisher, as shared by leaker "B23", shows an operator punting a downed Warzone enemy through the air with a tremendous connection of foot to face - as if they were scoring a field goal from the 50-yard line.

This isn't the only finishing move that sends enemies soaring through the sky, as the Down From The Skies bundle, which also brings one of the wildest blueprint inspections ever, has a finisher that flings foes through time and space.

The WWE finishers might not be trying out for the Olympics javelin squads like the previous body-flinging ones, but the wrestling stars still pack a punch themselves, with moves like a steel chair coming with official commentary lines.

The best bit about all of this is that WWE legend Michael Cole's iconic commentary can be heard as you whack your opponents with a chair. The finishers will be added throughout Modern Warfare 3 Season 5, so you'll have to watch your six more vividly or else face the fate of being flung through the air.
