Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 has introduced a brand-new Battle Pass and, of course, BlackCell - the premium upgrade for players who are willing to spend a little more.

With Activision promising the community that the Season 4 BlackCell offering is worth over 7,000 CoD points, the expectations for the cosmetics included were high.

Unfortunately, CoD fans are incredibly disappointed with the skins included in this update's BlackCell, and now, have slammed them for being 'trash.'

Taking to the ModernWarfareII subreddit, user st0ps7gn decided to create a thread showcasing all of the rewards that come with the BlackCell Battle Pass upgrade in Season 4.

After seeing the cosmetics, others shared their opinions. It's safe to say, there wasn't much praise for the designs. One user claimed, "They seem to have a fixation on using the same hood face mask and the colour gold," and another player even went as far as to call the skins 'trash.'

Calling out the majority of the cosmetics as 'corny' and 'ugly,' it's obvious a lot of the CoD community is not impressed with the Season 4 BlackCell offering. Arguing that "S3 was better," it'll be interesting to see whether Activision takes a different approach in future updates.

How much is the BlackCell Battle Pass in MW2 Season 4?

MW2 and WZ2 BlackCell upgrade costs $29.99 in Season 4 and instantly unlocks the new hooded Operator Io. It's worth noting that if you buy BlackCell, you also gain access to the Season 4 Battle Pass, meaning you don't have to buy them separately.

Although BlackCell was an exciting prospect for a lot of players in Season 3, the Season 4 rewards don't seem to have had the same impact. It's unlikely Activision will go back to the drawing board or give us some added extras, so for now, you might have to hold that L.
