Activision has been dying to pour out some wacky and wonderful collaborations, but in this Modern Warfare 2 era which renewed all the skins back to the basic mil-sim costumes, it feels like they've been holding back after every recent bundle is lambasted by critics.

But as Halloween arrives and the devils begin to dance on the Warzone floors, Activision has now decided that this fancy dress party season is the perfect time to throw caution to the wind and has opted to throw a massive creepy celebration.

We've already seen an abundance of skins lined up for the Haunting of Al Mazrah, but just as Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 begins to roll out, fans have noticed that the battle pass is completely f***ing weird and it's the best they've ever done.

The weird and wonderful skins aren't for everyone, admittedly. There are a lot of players who prefer to see Soap head-to-toe in beige and brown or prefer Valeria in a Shadow Company outfit rather than a more revealing skeletal morph suit, but there's no hiding that Spawn and a band of Halloween-themed characters will be all up in your face in Season 6 this year.

But with that comes other cosmetic changes. There are ghoulish gun wraps, skeletal 'splosive skins, possessed pocket knives, chilling calling cards, and a wealth more of spine-tingling items that will get you ready for the tricks and treats that the Haunting of Al Mazrah has to offer.

The best of these chilling new camos comes in the way of a vehicle skin, as fans will now see babies' faces plastered on choppers all over the skyline, in some form of twisted Tellytubbies dystopia.

Modern Warfare 2 fans love the new spooky Season 6 pass

It's not just us who are fangirling over the new pass, as fans appear to be pouring compliments about the announced skins on social media.

"Best Battle Pass all year, those Skins are SICK," one fan said on Twitter, while a second added, "So many sick operators in 1 battle pass this is what we need."

"It's probably the most bang for your buck Battlepass ever," added another Redditor.

With Modern Warfare 3 starting just before Christmas, maybe this is the bar that will have to be followed, as Activision has finally admitted "f-it, let's give the fans what they want. Let's get weird."
