Most Anticipated Mobile Games Of 2021

2020 was a huge year for the mobile gaming industry, and a lot of big names such as PUBG Corp., Activision, and Epic Games have already been in the market for the past couple of years and are quite successful globally. The mobile gaming industry in 2020 alone grossed nearly $150 billion worldwide.

After looking at the remarkable growth, many other reputed game development companies have shown their interest in breaking into the mobile market, and there are a lot of games expected to be released in 2021. 
 

League of Legends: Wild Rift

Riot Games announced back in 2019 that they will be launching the mobile version of the popular PC game League of Legends. The game is called League of Legends: Wild Rift and is currently in the open beta testing phase in a few regions, and as per the official announcement, it will be available for players globally in 2021. If you reside in regions with access to Wild Rift, you can download the game from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or pre-register for it.

Just Cause: Mobile

Just Cause: Mobile is an action-shooter set in the explosive Just Cause universe designed exclusively for mobile, which was announced during the Game Awards 2020. The game offers different modes, including an action-packed story campaign, 30 players competitive multiplayer, and four-player Co-op missions modes. Just Cause: Mobile is a brand new story told from a different perspective with reimagined gameplay explicitly created for mobile devices. Although the narrative ties in with the main franchise instalments, the game is not intended as a direct sequel to Just Cause 4

Apex Legends

Although there is no confirmation from EA, the leaks suggest that the mobile version of Apex Legends is under development that will be completed in January 2021 and will be ready to launch in FY22, i.e., from October 2021 to September 2022.  An EA conference video snippet that surfaced on the internet, in which the CEO of EA, Andrew Wilson can be seen talking about the development of Apex Legends: Mobile and its release, seemed to all but confirm its existence.

Pokemon Unite

Pokémon UNITE is a strategic team battle game being developed jointly by The Pokémon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios. Pokémon UNITE is based on the 5v5 MOBA genre and will be a cross-platform game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. The game is currently in the testing phase and will launch globally in 2021.

Tomb Raider: Reloaded

Tomb Raider: Reloaded is a free to play action-arcade game, the mobile version of the hit game series Tomb Raider, which was announced by Square Enix in 2019. Although there is no definite date announced regarding the launch of the game, as per the official announcement, it will release in 2021 and will be available to download for both Android and iOS.
