Hideo Kojima unveils OD at The Game Awards

When it comes it gaming legends, they don't come much bigger than Hideo Kojima. The former Konami golden boy has now unveiled his next title, with the mysterious OD surely being one of The Game Awards' biggest announcements.

OD is something new from Hideo Kojima

An atmospheric trailer didn't give us much to go on, other than the fact OD stars IT's Sophia Lillis, Euphoria's Hunter Schaefer, and character actor, Udo Kier. Kojima was at The Game Awards, promising an immersive game, that's also a movie, and a new form of media that's an Xbox exclusive. 

He wasn't alone, as horror favourite Jordan Peele joined Kojima on the stage and said he was collaborating with the "GOAT." As Peele is known for meta horrors, including Get Out, Us, and Nope, you can expect something special from this pair. 

Kojima said he's a big fan of Peele, feeling like they're "friends from the past." Kojima shared his love of movies, promising that OD will be a truly unique experience. The big guy said he couldn't confirm who else he's working with on OD, but he referred to them as "The Avengers." Consider our interest piqued.
